The Island Inn Hotel, originally constructed in 1804 as the Rum Store for the British Military, is a lavishly restored and refurbished historic Garrison Building. The hotel is located less than a mile from the centre of Bridgetown, conveniently close to shops and restaurants, and close to the beach at beautiful Carlisle Bay. It is a small and intimate hotel and it caters to many repeat visitors and the discerning business traveler.

In restaurants, shoes and bathing suit cover-ups are required. After 7:00pm, no jeans, shorts, or tee shirts in the bar/restaurant area are allowed. Men are required to wear long trousers at dinner.
