Car Rentals  

Car Rental is not a problem. The Car Rental Desk can arrange a hire of any type of vehicle - open, so that you can sunbathe while you drive or air-conditioned so that you are cooled against the Caribbean heat.

Boat Trips  

You can enjoy a catamaran cruise along the exotic west coast of the island or enjoy the boisterous atmosphere of the island's only pirate cruise on the Jolly Roger. Standard catamaran cruises, sailboats, Jolly Roger Pirate and the Harbour Master Party Vessel, with lunch, transport, open bar, snorkeling and swimming with the turtles on the Tiami Catamaran Lunch Cruises. US$65.00 per person. Prices subject to change at the discretion of the managers of the facilities. (These can also be customized to suit your request.)

Submarine Tour  

Take a trip inside a real submarine to a depth of 150 ft below the surface! A dive with Atlantis Submarines gives you a spectacular look at the coral reefs, tropical fish and marine life that dwell in our waters. US$80.00 per person. Group rates can also be arranged. US$64.50 per person for groups of 15+. Roundtrip transportation included.

Rum and Beer Factory Tours  

Allamanda Beach Hotel can arrange tours of the local rum factories and the Banks Brewery. There you can watch the manufacturing process and even sample the product.

Island Tours  

The Activity Centre will be happy to arrange island tours for you. Standard full day island tours with lunch are available from US$57.50 per person. (These tours can be personalized to your request). Jeep Safari Tours Full day safaris begin at US$57.50 per person. Custom tours can be arranged. Jeep Safari plus a challenging hike on the east coast or a bicycle tour. US$112.50. Scooter Tours Feel the riddim with a Caribbean Scooter safari - all day island tour from US$32.50 per person. Horseback Riding through the Scotland District Beach and Trail US$60.00 Challenging ride for approximately two and a half hours: US$90.00 (for more experienced riders). Picnic lunch after at Farley Hill US$22.50 per person. (This is restricted to 9 persons per ride for safety reasons.) Prices subject to change at the discretion of the managers of the facilities.

Cigar Factory Tours  

Allamanda Beach Hotel can also arrange tours of the local cigar factory - the Caribbean Cigar Company where you can watch the manufacturing process.

Golf  

As our sister hotel is part owner of the Barbados Golf Club, guests receive a 15% discount on all green fees. The original Barbados Golf and Country Club was designed and built in 1974 by the notable architect Col. J. Harris. For more than 20 years it has laid sleeping and awaiting its rebirth. On September 1st 2000 the redesigned and completely reconstructed Barbados Golf Club reopened as Barbados' first public Championship golf course. The 6,805 yard par 72 golf course has been approved and sanctioned by the PGA European Tour to host a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2002. Magnificent trees strategically planted 25 years ago give the course a mature ambience. Two lakes intrude and enhance play on five holes and create a dramatic 'Amen Corner' on holes 15 & 16. A series of coral waste bunkers carved through 4 holes adds to the excitement and personality of the course.

Other Activities  

Night Diving: Experience night diving with Wayne's World of Diving - US$50 per person. For non-divers a resort course is available at US$70 inclusive per person.
Parasailing: try parasailing on the calm west coast of the island. Elevation begins at 400 ft, 600ft, 800 ft and 1000 ft. US$50 - US$100 depending on elevation.
Adventure Boat rides are available from Mullins Beach to the Northpoint Lighthouse. This is a challenging ride (not a cruise). US$50 per person.
Surfing lessons: coaching and trials on the East Coast - can be arranged speciallly for our guests.
Sky Diving: For even more excitement try sky diving from a light aircraft! Coaching is available.

Convenience Stores  

Open 7:30am to 7:30pm and carrying a wide array of products including food and drink items, newspapers, stamps, swimwear, souvenirs, casual clothing, suntan and other toiletries.

Swimming Pool  

Allamanda Beach Hotel has a large outdoor pool. Beach towles are available based on a voucher system.

Guest Self-Service Laundry  

Washer and dryer are available for guests’ use. Tokens are needed to operate the machines and they are available at the Front Desk.

All Rooms:  

Allamanda Beach has 50 rooms all with balconies with beautiful ocean views. 36 rooms overlook the swimming pool as well as the ocean. All rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, shaver outlet, iron and ironing board and cable TV. Our phones have voice mail and allow internet access.

Recreational Activities  

Allamanda has a weekly Manager's Rum Punch Party. Sister hotel is part owner of the Barbados Golf Club, guests receive a 15% discount on all green fees. Allamanda can arrange any island tours (including submarine and helicopter), catamaran cruises, as well as sky diving and night scuba diving!

Water Sports  

There is safe swimming, excellent snorkeling and free non-motorized water sports.
