• Yellow Bird Kids Club  

  Open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily and is just bursting with the latest educational computer games, toys of all kinds plus art and craft activities in the Outdoor Craft Centre, Nintendo games and a TV room. The staff provide hours of supervised fun for children from 2 to 11 years including such things as photography and videography lessons, snorkeling lessons, tie and dye lessons, shell collecting, a kiddies' theme dinner and disco, pajama and toga parties. Parents must advise Kiddies Centre Coordinators whether the child is permitted to join in outside activities or should remain inside. Children over 4 years must be signed in and out if unaccompanied by an adult. Check Activities Board for daily kids activities.

• Vacation Nanny  

  Upon arrival each family is assigned its own Vacation Nanny, who will stay with your family to care for your kids and your suite for the duration of your holiday. Your Nanny is with you daily from 9:00am to 4:40 pm and is highly trained in housekeeping and child care. There is a nominal charge of US$4.00 per hour if you require her services after 4:40pm. She will care for your children all day from giving them a bath to feeding them to taking them to their activities, so Mom and Dad can enjoy their vacation too.

• Gym/Fitness Centre  

  The modern, fully equipped fitness gym is open everyday. This equipment is for guests 16 years and older. Equipment includes: Stationery Bicycles, Treadmills, Step Machines, Weights and Fitness equipment. An attendant is on duty to assist you.

• The Verandah Restaurant  

  On the boardwalk over the ocean or in the dining room, the Verandah Restaurant serves International cuisine in a family atmosphere. Bountiful buffet breakfasts every morning. At lunchtime another buffet feast of salads, hot entrees and scrumptious desserts. At dinnertime choose from an international menu featuring French and Jamaican specialties. Don't miss our Beach Buffet by torchlight on Wednesday nor our famous Saturday Jamaican Buffet.

• The Pier Restaurant  

  At The Pier Restaurant, the gourmet Italian fare is as delightful as the setting. Dining at this adults-only, a-la-carte restaurant gives Mum and Dad a moment for romance. Service is exceptional. Meals include elaborate antipasto displays, wine, a great choice of salads, soups, pasta and entrees, tempting desserts and cheeses. Open for dinner five evenings per week, from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.

• Kidz Buffet  

  After an energetic and active day in the sea and sun, children are offered a great spread at the Kidz Buffet. A well-balanced, buffet-style meal is served on tables just the right height. The menu is specially planned to suit little palates: spaghetti and meatballs, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, soups, a selection of healthy salads, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers are some of the specialties. The Kidz Buffet goes from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm daily. Fruits, juices, milk, our popular non-alcoholic Daiquiris, chocolate milk, softy ice cream and dessert treats are also available. After dinner there is Ping Pong, Pool, Air Hockey and foosball to keep the kids entertained until the Kiddies Disco opens at 7:30pm.

• Bar and Lounge  

  Hang out at the Bar all day and enjoy our pianist from 10:00 am to 12:00 midnight.

She is your family’s Vacation Assistant who takes care of small hassles such as rinsing out a swimsuit to making sure the kids are fed at mealtimes, to stocking your fridge with family favorites.   Kids have free reign of this cozy resort with all the fun activities that abound daily. For the little ones, our children’s centre is open from 7:30am – 10:30pm daily with supervised and interactive activities such as shell and treasure hunts, arts & crafts, movie nights, theme parties, Kids cooking classes and much more. • Weather in Runaway Bay  

  The weather can get very hot and sunny. We advise the use of sunscreen at all times when exposed to the sun, with regular reapplication especially for children to prevent sunburn.
